Based in Perth, Bladeology Australia provides a mobile sharpening service across all suburbs of Perth. We specialise in hairdressing scissors, and also sharpen dressmaking scissors and chef’s knives.
We offer a prompt, professional sharpening service to hairdressers, barbers, dressmakers and chefs. Our focus is on a providing an excellent service every time.
Working from our fully equipped mobile workshop van, we come to your place of work at a time convenient to you. Most work can be done within 1 hour, and we offer loan scissors to use whilst we sharpen yours. There is no need to be without the most important tools of your trade for days.
We use the latest top quality equipment backed by years of training to give you the best possible sharpen on your scissors and knives.
Hairdressing scissors are sharpened using the Hamaguri Flat hone system combined with techniques learnt from veteran sharpener Colin of Mobile Sharpening. (Colin also happens to be my father). All hairdressing scissors and thinning shears are finished on an ultra fine Japanese whetstone.
